Next Friday, September 25 , at 8:30 p.m. , the closing of the XXIX Ciudad de Vélez-Málaga International Guitar Festival will take place at the Teatro del Carmen in Vélez-Málaga. On this occasion and due to the moments of uncertainty we are experiencing, especially in relation to the organization of events in closed spaces, this year's edition will be held behind closed doors, with its concerts being recorded to be broadcast later.

The concert program will include works by Vivaldi , Giulinai , Soutullo and Vert , as well as Granados . The guitar soloist in charge of the closing of the festival will be Javier García Moreno , a guitarist from Malaga with extensive experience as a soloist at a national and international level, who will perform on this occasion the Concerto No. 1 for guitar and orchestra in A Major, Op 30 of the Italian composer Mauro Giuliani . The orchestra will be conducted by its principal conductor Juan Paulo Gómez , a Malaga conductor with an extensive artistic career, who also works as a professor of Orchestral Conducting at the Málaga Superior Conservatory of Music .
