Susana Ruiz

He began his musical studies in 2005 at the Professional Conservatory of Music in Jaén, his hometown. He continued his musical training in 2016 at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid with professors Luis Llácer (principal viola of the RTVE Symphony Orchestra) and Alan Kovacs (solo viola of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra). She completes her studies in 2020 at the Katarina Gurska Higher Center by completing the Master of Solo Performance with Igor Sulyga (soloist and principal viola of the Moscow Virtuosos Chamber Orchestra).

Among the teachers to be highlighted during his formative stage are Thuan Do Minh, Francisco Fullana, Isabel Villanueva, Laure Gaudron, Joaquín Torre, Enrique Rueda, Iván Martín, Sergei Teslia, Oriol Saña, José Manuel Zapata, Raúl Benavent and Humberto Armas, among others.

He has been a member of large orchestras such as the Young Orchestra of the Community of Madrid, the Philharmonic and Metropolitan Orchestra of Madrid, the Mediterranean Chamber Orchestra, the Young Symphony Orchestra of Granada and the Young Orchestra of Andalusia, playing under the baton of prestigious orchestra conductors. such as José Luis Temes, Enrique García Asensio, Víctor Pablo Pérez, Pascual Osa or Arturo Díez Boscovich, among others, which has led him to perform in prestigious venues such as El Teatro Real, the National Music Auditorium of Madrid, the Manuel de Falla de Granada, the Cervantes Theater in Malaga, the Soho Caixa Bank Theater, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando, the Escorial Auditorium, the Juan March Foundation, the Teatros del Canal, the Mutua Madrileña Auditorium and Lienzo Norte in Avila.

He has had the opportunity to play as a soloist in the Jaén CPM orchestra, and in 2015 he won 2nd prize in the XIV “Ciudad de Jaén” Young Musical Performers Competition in the field of Chamber Music with the string quartet “ Stradivari.

He has participated in the recording of the album “María Rodrigo. Becqueriana. Nursery rhymes. La copla intrusa” with José Luis Temes in 2018, and in the performance of the musical Nine at the Royal Higher School of Dramatic Art (RESAD).

From 2019 to 2021 she has been a professor of viola and violin at the Ayensa Authorized Music Center and at the Inmaculada Concepción school in Madrid.

Her love for music has led her to transmit this passion in Malaga where she is currently a viola teacher at Triarte – Center for Artistic Studies , and also collaborates with the Soho Caixa Bank Theater Symphony Orchestra (a project directed by Antonio Banderas), and the Orchestra of the University of Jaén.
