Rubén Rodríguez Rosado

His first musical contact was in the Villanueva de la Serena Municipal Music Band. Later, he entered the Conservatories of Don Benito, Cáceres and Badajoz, finishing the Higher Grade in Clarinet with Alfonso Pineda and obtaining an Honorable Mention at the end of his studies.

He continued his training with a Clarinet Postgraduate Degree at the Aragon Conservatory of Music with Wenzel Fuchs, Joan Enric Lluna and Fabrizio Meloni. He also completed a Master's Degree in Music in the specialty of Performance at the University of Évora with Etienne Lamaison.

He expanded his knowledge at the Barenboim-Said Academy of Orchestral Studies with Matthias Glander. He takes improvement courses with clarinetists such as José Luis Estellés, Carlos Gil, Josep Fuster, Miguel Espejo, Ralph Manno or Johannes Peitz and other musicians such as Alexander Kandelaki, Ángel Sanzo, Pepe Sotorres, Marius Díaz, Gregor Witt or Paul Wakabayashi.

He completes his training with the Master's degrees in the specialty of Music Education and the Master's in Musical Research.

Throughout his career he has obtained various recognitions, such as the First Prize in the II National Clarinet Competition of Villanueva del Arzobispo and the First Prize in the I Chamber Music Competition of Alzira with the Badavia Clarinet Quartet, of which he is a member. founder.

For five years he was a member of the Extremadura Youth Orchestra, being selected to play with this orchestra as a soloist. He was also selected to participate in the joint OJA/AEO program under the direction of Yaron Traub.

His collaboration with the Extremadura Orchestra has been very fruitful, participating in subscription concerts, extraordinary concerts, opera or ballet, and working with teachers of the stature of Antoni Ros-Marbà, Álvaro Albiach, Carlos Miguel Prieto and Gavin Sutherland. Other symphonic groups with which he has collaborated have been the C/O Chamber Orchestra and Anam Camerata.

He has offered concerts in venues such as the Teatro de la Maestranza in Seville or the Palau de la Música in Valencia. Outside of Spain, he has performed in countries such as Italy, Portugal and Slovenia.

Until 2023 he has been a professor of Clarinet and Chamber Music at the “Tomás Bote Lavado” Official Conservatory of Music in Almendralejo and currently carries out his pedagogical work at the "Músico Ziryab" Professional Conservatory of Music in Córdoba.
