Paula Ruiz Martín

Born in the province of Málaga, Paula Ruiz Martín began her music studies at the age of 8 at the CPM Gonzalo Martín Tenllado specializing in Viola, obtaining the professional music degree in 2014 with honors. Since that year he began his performance studies at the Málaga Superior Conservatory of Music, where he performed Violin as a complementary instrument. In addition, she has been a scholarship student at the Ivan Galamian International Music Academy for four years receiving classes from teachers such as Jesús Reina, Anna Nielsen, Molly Car, Grigory Kalinovsky and Patinka Kopec, among others.

He has taken numerous performance courses, both nationally and internationally, in schools such as ARTEZ (Netherlands) or Manhattan School of Music (NY).

In the pedagogical field he has taken numerous courses, receiving classes from teachers such as Irene Huete or Claudio Forcada.

He has participated with numerous orchestras such as JOPMA (Young Provincial Orchestra of Malaga), OJA (Young Orchestra of Andalusia), JOBA (Young Baroque Orchestra of Andalusia), HSO (Hispanian Symphony Orchestra) or The Britten Youth Orchestra performing concerts in large cities such as Seville or Amsterdam, among others. Additionally, in June 2016 he participated in the IV “Málaga Clásica” Chamber Music Festival. Recently, he has participated with the Malaga Symphony Orchestra and with the Orchestra formed by the Teatro Lírico Andaluz.

In 2015 he participated in the recording of the Nazaret Compaz for their album “Certeza” and in 2016 he made a recording for the documentary “The Silence of Others”.

He is currently part of the team of teachers at Triarte – Center for Artistic Studies teaching classes on Introduction to Music, Chamber Music and Viola.
