Pablo Turlo Escorihuela

Born in 2004. At 4 years old he began to study violin and at 7 he began to study with the great violinist, concertmaster of the Valencia Orchestra, Enrique Palomares. He has also received classes from Claudio Forcada. He has participated in masterclasses taught by Vasko Vasilev, Santi Juan, Leticia Moreno, Mariana Todorova and Aitxol Iturriagagoitia. In September 2020, he entered the Higher Conservatory of Valencia at the age of 16, obtaining the highest grade in the Violin entrance test. Currently, he is studying the 3rd year of Higher Education in Music at the Liceo Superior Conservatory of Barcelona with Professor Jordan Tejedor.

Since 2020, he has been a regular member of the National Youth Orchestra of Catalonia (JONC).

Passionate about the world of Jazz, in 2015 he began to take Harmony and Jazz language classes at a very early age with the teacher and pianist Pau Chafer.

In the field of jazz, he has collaborated with the Cuban pianist Pepe Rivero and the great clarinetist and saxophonist Paquito d,Rivera in festivals such as the Elx Jazz Festival 2018 or the Valencia and Alicante International Jazz Festival 2019.

In 2019 he was invited by the Caixa Ontinyent project to play at the concert of young talents with the Symphony Orchestra, performing “Aires gypsies” by Pablo Sarasate.

Also in 2019 he presents at the Palau de la Música in Valencia together with his brother Alejandro Turlo, with the stage name “Violincheli Brothers, the show “DESCONCHERTANTES”, together with the Pau Chafer Trio and under the stage direction of the Argentine Joaquín Daniel. In 2020, with this same duo, he premiered the show “Seriously!!” again in the cycle of the Palau de la Música in Valencia and in December 2020 they were finalists of the prestigious television contest “Got Talent Spain 2021”, in its sixth edition.

Other awards worth highlighting are the one obtained in the XX “Young music Talentes in Europe” competition held in Fundao (Portugal, 2017), the First Prize in the XXII Ciutat de L'Alcora Chamber Music Competition Ximen d'Urrea together with the guitarist Ausiàs Parejo (2019), Second Prize in the VII Contest of Young Chamber Music Performers of Montserrat (2019), Bankia Prize 2019 awarded to young musical talents on the scene of the Valencian Community, double prize in the China - Spain Violin Competition organized by the Liceu of Barcelona, ​​being the best outstanding Spanish participant and managing to be among the top 5 classified (2020), as well as the First prize in the National Intercentros Melómano Competition in the Higher Degree category (2022).

Among his upcoming commitments, it is worth highlighting the premiere in January 2023 together with "Violincheli brothers" of the show "New emotions" in the cycle of the Palau de la Música in Valencia, at the Gran Teatro de Xátiva, in the Torrent Auditorium, and the Cullera Auditorium.

As a soloist, he will perform Bach concertos with the “Solistas de Valencia” Chamber Orchestra, the RTVE Symphony Orchestra, Iberian sinfonietta, Joven Orquesta de Cantabria, as well as within the Úbeda International Festival, Cádiz Spanish Music Festival, among others. others.
