Laura López

Born in Madrid in 1981, she develops her artistic, teaching and research activities between Spain and Holland. Graduated as a Higher Teacher of Violin and Chamber Music with the highest qualifications and Honor Award at the end of her degree from the Liceo Conservatory of Barcelona. Doctor in Education, with cum laude mention
and extraordinary award, by UNED

He expanded his musical training by moving to Holland where he studied postgraduate studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague and the University for the Arts of Rotterdam, with professors Kees Hülsman, Benzion Shamir, Gordan Nikolic and David Peralta among others.

Founding member of the Isorum Duo, obtains the First Prize in the
Santander-Sardinero Chamber Music Competition in 2005. In the same year, he also received a prize in the City of Vinaroz Chamber Music Competition promoted by Juventudes Musicales de España, which led him to make numerous tours throughout the national territory. . Likewise, she is the founder of the Artemis trio dedicated to
dissemination of the 18th century repertoire through a historicist vision in different European countries.

Collaborator with important orchestras such as: National Orchestra of Spain, Spanish Radio and Television Orchestra, Galician Symphony Orchestra, Navarra Symphony Orchestra, Malaga Symphony Orchestra, Verum Symphony Orchestra, Canary Islands Chamber Orchestra, Concerto Málaga, Dutch Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra
Dutch National Ballet and Dutch Philharmonic Orchestra.

As a performer of music with a historicist character, he collaborates with Musica Poetica (Netherlands) and other European ensembles dedicated to early music.

He has been part of: JJMM Bach Project Orchestra. of Spain (Soloist, 2005), National Youth Orchestra of Spain JONDE (2002-2004), Academy of Contemporary Music (JONDE- 2005, Concertino), Superior Conservatory of Salamanca (Concertino, 2002), Orchestra of the Royal Conservatory of The Hague (2003-2007), Codarts Simfony Orkest (Rotterdam 2006-2007).

He has made recordings for Decca, Verso, Spanish National Radio, Dutch National Radio, Spanish Television and Dutch TV West.

She has received a scholarship during her years of study in Holland from the Spanish Ministry of Culture, the National Youth Orchestra of Spain and the Caja Madrid foundation.

She currently develops her teaching activity as a full professor at the “Manuel Carra” Professional Conservatory of Music in Malaga.
