Irene Arriaza González

He was born in Seville (2009) in the cradle of a family of musicians and began his violin studies at the age of 4 with his mother. Likewise, since she was five years old she has had María Rosaria D'Aprile as her teacher and since 2018 she has expanded her training in Toulouse with the violinist Clara Cernat.

She has been admitted to the Santa Cecilia Music Academy in Bergamo (Italy) studying under the direction of Pavel Vernikov, Svetlana Makarova and Igor Volochine.

A violin enthusiast and passionate about music, Irene has had the opportunity to receive masterclasses from renowned violinists such as Vicente Huerta, Sergio Castro, Vladyslava Luchenko, Carole Petitdemange, Vladimir Dmitrienco, Karen Aoroutiounian, among others.

At the age of 5, he gave his first public performance at the Juventudes Musicales headquarters in Seville and at 7 he played for the first time as a soloist with a chamber orchestra.

She was admitted as the youngest student to the Barenboim-Said Foundation under the professorship of Mirelys Morgan (Concertgebouw) and Yun Jin Cho (Gewandhaus) in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 academic years, having the opportunity to play as a member of the orchestra. of the Foundation at the Maestranza Theater in Seville and the Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada under the direction of Pablo Heras Casado and Nuno Coelho.

He makes his debut as a soloist with orchestra thanks to the support of Maestro Michael Thomas at the Maestro Padilla Auditorium in Almería and the International Festival of Young Performers in Baeza.

Among the awards he has obtained are the First Prize in the Medici International Music Competition, the First Prize in the XXX Visitación Magarzo Contest (soloist mode), the First Prize in the XI Joaquín Villatoro Young Performers Contest, the First Prize in the Odin International Music Competition, the First Prize and the Audience Prize in the V Villa Ducal de Osuna Competition, the First Prize in the Young Performers of the City of Estepona, the Second Prize at the International Mozart Competition Vienna, the Bronze Prize at the AIMA International Competition, as well as the Honor Prize at the International Music Competition of America.

Among his upcoming performances, it is worth highlighting the concert as a soloist with Iberian Sinfonietta on September 16, 2023 at the Peace Palace in Fuengirola (Málaga).
