Fátima Fernández

Born in Málaga in 1987, she began her violin studies in her hometown, at the "Manuel Carra" Professional Conservatory of Music, later completing her degree at the Málaga Superior Conservatory of Music in 2012.

As a violinist, he has attended numerous national and international performance courses taught by teachers such as: Yuri Volguin, Andrea Sestakova, Larisa Kolos, Alexandre Da Costa, Pablo Martos, Manuel Guillén, José García Belmonte and Santiago de la Riva, among others.

He has participated in the courses VIII and X “Master Classes for pianists, conductors and young orchestras” of the Eutherpe Foundation taught by teachers Bruno Aprea and Joaquín Soriano, in León.

In his interest in pedagogy, he has completed the Master's Degree in Teacher Training for Compulsory Secondary Education, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (Music), as well as the Master's Degree in Musical Performance and Research. In addition, he has taken several advanced courses at the University of Granada and at the Granada International Music and Dance Festival, and with teachers such as Alberto Odone and Miguel Romea Chicote, among others.

In the orchestral field, he has been a member of the Young Provincial Orchestra of Malaga (JOPMA) from 2000 to 2014, and has been its concertmaster since 2008. With this training he has performed in the main auditoriums in Spain, in cities such as Málaga, Granada, Seville, Cádiz, Jaén, Badajoz, Murcia, Alicante, León and Madrid. He has also made international tours to countries such as Morocco, France, Italy, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Canada and China. He has also made two other tours of the Asian continent, with the Enarmonía project (2013) and with the Aicea project (2014). Likewise, he has been a member of the Andalusian Youth Orchestra (OJA) and has
formed part of the Young Baroque Orchestra of Andalusia (JOBA).

He has participated in various recordings such as the soundtrack of the short film En la otro camilla ; the album AEJO – 10 years 2004-2014, from the Spanish Association of Young Orchestras; with the musician and producer Miguel Ángel Vera (El Argonauta); with the musician Luis Martos; the D'Lujo group and José Mª Santos' Anthem for the Fundació Esportiva Grama Football team.

Since 2012 she has been a violin teacher at the TRIARTE Center for Artistic Studies (Málaga), having also taught Musical Language, Violin Literature, Introduction to Music, Chamber Music and Youth Orchestra.
