Carla Román Vázquez

He was born in 2008, beginning to study piano and cello at the age of four and a half with his mother Patricia Vázquez García and continuing with the Spanish pianist Luis Fernando Pérez.

He has taken improvement courses and masterclasses with Benedicte Palko, Graham Jackson, Nino Kereslizde, Luis Fernando Pérez, Ángel Sanzo, Josep Colom, Alberto Urroz, Ana Guijarro, Juan Lago, Jorge Pepi-Alos, Edith Fischer, Wolfram Schmitt Leonardy, Galina Eguiarazova , Pascal Nemirowski, Pavel Nessersian, Boris Slutski, Dimitri Alexeev, Christopher Elton and Alexander Kobrin. He has received advice from the Polish pianist Krystian Zimerman. Since September 2019, he has received a scholarship from the Artemúsica foundation in Frankfurt.

He made his debut with an orchestra at the age of 10 with Haydn's D Major concerto and a few months later he performed his first solo recital.

He has played in concert halls in Spain and abroad: Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, France, South Africa..., as well as at the 40th International EPTA Conference in Valletta (Malta), 42nd Segovia Music Festival, Museo del Romanticism of Madrid, IV Hispano-Russian Festival of Young Talents organized by the UCA, V International Music Festival of Isla Cristina, Mendigorría Festival, Semaine International de Piano et Musique de chambre de Blonay (Switzerland), Arte Piano Festival (Agen) , Scherzo Cycle in Madrid, National Auditorium of Madrid, XVIII Spanish Music Festival of Cádiz, Campillos International Piano Competition, Festpiele Sudtirol Alto Aldige Festival, as well as orchestras such as the Ciudad de Almería Orchestra under the direction of Michael Thomas, Orchestra of Cordova,
Beigdeber Orchestra. He has also appeared on Rne Classical Radio, South African Television...
