Amador Ávila Bermúdez

He was born in Granada in 1985, where he studied Elementary and Professional Music Education at the “Ángel Barrios” Professional Conservatory of Granada. In 2010 he obtained the title of Senior Horn Professor at the Royal Conservatory of Music “Victoria Eugenia” in Granada, with Professor Miguel Ángel Ballesteros. He also graduated in 2019 from the International University of Andalusia and the University of Granada with the Master in Musical Heritage.

He has taken advanced courses with teachers such as Raúl Díaz, Thomas Müller, Ab Koster, Oscar Sala or JM Gómez, among others.

He has collaborated with the Young Academy of Instrumentalists of the City of Granada Orchestra, the University of Granada Orchestra, the Young Symphony Orchestra of Granada, the Young Symphony Orchestra of the University of Koblez, (Germany), the London group Riot Ensemble, the Nova Symphony Orchestra. City of Lisbon, among others.

In 2009 he was selected by the Royal Conservatory of Music "Victoria Eugenia" of Granada to participate in an exchange with the Moscow University Orchestra (Russia).

He has been a member of the University of Granada Orchestra, Motril Municipal Music Band, Granada Youth Symphony Orchestra, Ciudad de Priego Orchestra, Hesperian Symphony Orchestra, among others, and of the brass quintet Allegro Brass Quintet and founding member of the quintet of wind Vandelvira and the Úbeda Brass Ensemble.

He has performed as a soloist accompanied by the Granada Youth Symphony Orchestra and the Motril Municipal Music Band, performing Concerto No. 3 for horn and orchestra by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.

In 2010 he obtained and won by competitive examination the position of Horn Professor at the "Maria de Molína" Professional Conservatory of Music in Úbeda, Jaén. And since 2022 he has held the position of Horn Professor at the “Gonzalo Martín Tenllado” Professional Conservatory of Music in Málaga.
