IBERIAN SINFONIETTA AND MIOTTA & MOLIÈRE SIGN AN AGREEMENT TO PROMOTE SUPPORT FOR YOUNG COMPOSERS
Tomorrow, September 17 , within the framework of the opening concert of the fourth season of Iberian Sinfonietta , the absolute premiere of the work Dimensiones by the composer Sergio Pastor will take place by director Juan Paulo Gómez .
Dimensiones has been the winning work of the first call for the “Ramón Roldán” Composition Contest , which has members of the Association of Composers and Performers of Malaga (ACIM) and the Iberian Sinfonietta on its jury. Sergio Pastor wins the I Manuel Carra Composition Competition in 2019 with the work "The Oceanic Conquest", and is a finalist in the I International Processional Marches Competition "Perfecto Artola" for his work "Divina Devoción".
Created in 2019, Iberian Sinfonietta aims to provide an educational and cultural service to the community based on the support and dissemination of Classical Music, as well as supporting young talents and the different musical associations and entities on the current national scene. On September 7, it took another step in this direction with the signing of an agreement with Miotta & Molière , a project company in the cultural and publishing sector.
As essential points in this agreement, it is worth highlighting the commitment and support on the part of Miotta & Molière for the edition of the winning work of the "Ramón Roldán" competition, as well as the premiere of works from the publisher's repertoire within the framework of the season. of Iberian Sinfonietta concerts.

Miotta & Molière has among its founding partners Javier Briongos , with more than thirty-five years of experience in the music industry and has held the marketing direction of, among other companies, Warner Classics, Emi Classics, and has been general director of the multinational publisher Wise Music in Spain and in 2004 as a founding partner of the company Oe Oficina, he collaborated closely with Daniel Barenboim on the West-Eastern Divan project, as well as with personalities such as Cristóbal Halffter, Ara Malikian, Jorge Grundman, Joan Valent, Fundación non Profit and with some of the most prestigious orchestras and soloists in the national and international sector.

SERGIO PASTOR
Composer born in Málaga (Spain), in 2015 he began his studies at the “Manuel Carra” Professional Conservatory of Music in Málaga. He is currently studying composition at the Málaga Higher Conservatory of Music, expanding his musical training by taking courses in film composition and virtual orchestration.
In this year, 2022, he has released his first album titled "Armonías de la Pasión" where he wanted to capture his two passions, brotherhood music and film music.
It has more than 50 compositions of different genres and musical styles, some of them spread throughout the national territory.
