EL PIANO COMO PROTAGONISTA Y UNA OBRA DE ESTRENO EN EL PRÓXIMO CONCIERTO DE IBERIAN SINFONIETTA

THE PIANO AS THE PROTAGONIST AND A PREMIERE WORK IN THE NEXT CONCERT OF IBERIAN SINFONIETTA

The next Saturday, January 21 at 7:00 p.m. in it Peace Palace from Fuengirola, Iberian Sinfonietta , under the direction of its musical and artistic director Juan Paulo Gómez will offer a concert dedicated to the composers Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and José Iglesias González . This concert is part of the Community Concerts 22-23 , being the third of the annual cycle that the orchestra has been developing in this town on the Costa del Sol for three seasons.

with the title The game is between pianos , the repertoire will be configured by the Concerto for piano and orchestra No. 9 in Eb major, KV. 271 "Jeunehomme" , work that will begin the concert, performed by the very young pianist from Cádiz Carla Román Vázquez , brand new winner of the "Iberian Sinfonietta" Special Prize in the third edition of the "Ciudad de Estepona" Young Performers Competition . Next, the renowned Piano Duo Hermanos Vicente Téllez will be in charge of performing the Concerto for two pianos and orchestra No. 7 in F major, KV. 242 "Lodron", originally for three pianos but whose version for two, by Mozart himself, is the one that is performed most frequently. Finally, it will be this same duo who will perform, together with the orchestra, the absolute premiere of the version with orchestral accompaniment of the Fantasia for two pianos and orchestra, Op. 36 by the composer José Iglesias González , thus closing the concert.

As is traditional in the different concerts of the Communtiy Concerts , the program will be presented and commented by Jorge Rodríguez Morata, coordinator of pedagogical content of the orchestra.

All the concerts of the cycle, in accordance with the philanthropic ideal of Iberian Sinfonietta and thanks to the commitment and support of Fuengirola City Council , are free to the public, access being controlled until the permitted capacity is reached.
