Olga López

Born in Perpignan (France), she began her musical studies at the Regional Conservatory of this city. Later, he moved to Malaga, where he studied with Francisco De Gálvez and obtained the Professional Title of Viola Teacher at the Superior Conservatory of Music. Subsequently, he obtained the Superior Degree in Viola at the "Manuel Castillo" Superior Conservatory of Music in Seville.

He has received advanced classes from teachers such as Emilio Mateu (Professor of Viola at the Royal Conservatory of Music of Madrid) and Liviu Stanese (Professor of Chamber Music at the Paris Conservatory of Music and of Viola at the Rueil Malmaison Conservatory). ).

During much of his artistic activity he has been viola soloist of the Malaga Symphony Orchestra, of which he is still a member, and of the University of Malaga Orchestra. Currently, he is also part of the Malaga Baroque Orchestra.

On an educational level, she is co-founder and secretary since 2012 of the Andalusian Viola Association (ASANVIOLA), created by seven conservatory professors together with its president Dunia Erchova, who was viola soloist of the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, to help to young violists. With this association, it has organized improvement classes with prestigious performers and leading figures of the instrument at an international level, such as Avri Levitan, Jonathan Brown, Joaquín Riquelme, Natasha Tchitch, Paul Silverthorne, Michael Kugel, among others.

Since 2002 she has held the position of Viola teacher at the "Gonzalo Martín Tenllado" Professional Conservatory of Music in Malaga.
