Mauricio Sánchez

Born in Málaga, he studied violin and viola at the Málaga Conservatory of Music with Elvira Hurtado, Francisco De Gálvez and, especially, Herberto de Aguiar.

Subsequently, he took courses to improve his instruments, as well as chamber music, with teachers such as Víctor Martín, Pedro León or Alan Kovacs, among others.

In his professional work, he has collaborated with a multitude of orchestras in the national territory, as well as with chamber music groups, including the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the City of Granada Orchestra, the City of Almería Orchestra and the Madrid Symphony Orchestra. .

Since 1986, he has been a member of the Malaga Symphony Orchestra in the specialty of Viola.
