Luis Delgado

Natural from Malaga. First prize and Honor Award at the end of studies at the National Conservatory of Versailles (France), as a student of Professor Daniel Bourgue (French Horn Soloist of the Paris Opera).

In 1992 he was awarded in the National Musical Youth Competition of Spain.

He has collaborated with the RTVE Orchestra, Liceo de Barcelona, ​​“Ciudad de Granada”, Orquesta de Córdoba, Manuel de Falla de Cádiz and the Royal Symphony Orchestra of Seville, among others.

As a natural horn player he performs with groups such as the Baroque Orchestra of Seville, “El Concierto Español”, Madrid Barroco, “Els Sonadors”, Orquesta del Siglo XVIII, Capilla Real de Madrid, “Los Músicos de su Alteza”, Academia 1750 and Prince Theater Orchestra. He is a member of the natural horn group “Corniloquio”.

He regularly participates as a soloist and lecturer in various congresses: Association Nationale des Cornistes Français, (Bordeaux 1993), 36th International Congress of the International Horn Society (Valencia 2004), AEAT Congresses, (Córdoba 2010, Biar 2011, Granada 2012, Xàtiva 2013 , Oviedo 2015, Madrid 2016, Zaragoza 2017) and IV Trobada de trumpistas de Cataluña (Tarragona 2011).

In the field of teaching he is frequently invited as a professor both in Spain and outside our borders: Italy (Genova, Pesaro, Fermo and Campobasso), France (Rouen), Austria (Graz) and Germany (Leipzig), etc. .

He has been director of the IV Master in orchestral performance of the Barenboim-Said foundation/International University of Andalusia.

In May 2015 he obtained his Doctorate degree from the University of Seville with the qualification Cum Laude.

He has been a professor at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Seville.
He is currently Professor of Horn and Head of Studies at the Superior Conservatory of Music of Málaga.
