Francisco José Fernández

Born in Linares (Jaén) in 1985, at the age of 7 he began his violin studies at the “Andrés Segovia” Professional Conservatory of Music in this city, simultaneously participating as a percussionist in the Linares Musical Group and, later, in the Municipal Band of Bailén.

In 2007, he completed his violin studies at the “Rafael Orozco” Conservatory of Music in Córdoba, obtaining the Higher Violin Degree. Later, in 2009, they will also obtain the Higher Viola Title.

Furthermore, in 2018, he completed his Professional Saxophone Degree studies at the “Manuel Carra” Professional Conservatory of Music in Malaga, currently being a member of the Mijas Municipal Band (Saxophone) and the AMA Fuengirola (Saxophone and Percussion).

In his role as a professional instrumentalist, he has collaborated with a large number of orchestras, including the Provincial Symphony Orchestra of Malaga, the Malaga Philharmonic Orchestra, the Córdoba Orchestra, the Andalusian Youth Orchestra, the Andalusian Philharmonic Orchestra, the City Orchestra of Priego, the City of Granada Youth Orchestra Workshop, the Chamber Orchestra of Cádiz, the “Oltenia” Philharmonic Orchestra of Craiova (Rumnaía), among others.

As a teacher, he holds his position as Viola teacher through competitive examination at the “Costa del Sol” Professional Conservatory of Music in Fuengirola, where he has worked since 2010.
